The Hotel is situated about 5 minutes from the ferry habour, so it is easily reached by foot on your arrival. The beach of San Sebastian is also 5 minutes away. Around the Hotel you will find all kinds of supermarkets, shops, little bars and restaurants. The black and mostly sandy beach is very sheltered behind the nice marina area of San Sebastian and is therefore suitable for small children. Another beach nearby is "Playa de la Cueva". Directly behind the Hotel there is a nice green park area with the same name as your Hotel "Torre del Conde"

The Hotel is a perfect location for active guests, who want to enjoy themselves with all the advantages of a small busy gomerian city. A lot of excursions around the Island can be booked at the Hotel. Also visitors who are the first time on the island prefer this place, as a starting base for all their exploration around Gomera. You could also think of being one week in San Sebastian and one week at another village, further away, to enjoy as much as possible  the different characteristics of this beautiful island. In summertime or on the  days with special festivities, there are different "fiestas" organized at the "Plaza". Classic concerts, as well as dancing bands, which  play the typical salsa rythm, can be heared. The local people, who love all kind of fiestas, will dance all the night long.
